it was 2022 and I hit something hard
a rock, a wall, either way
I was completely exhausted— both physically and mentally.
Overworked, stressed and unfulfilled are just some adjectives to describe the state I was in.
I was diagnosed with chronic stress disorder.
My entire life went from 2x speed to battery saving mode.
I was working harder and in no way smarter.
Worried constantly about what people thought.
My stress levels? Oh they were alarmingly high.
My inner Georgina was saying all the wrong things.
I just put way too much on my plate
(as in, my mind and my to-do list).
I felt like life demanded too much of me and I simply couldn’t keep up.
I searched my way through the Google jungle trying to find resources, and comforting words by people who felt the way I was feeling at that moment.
Nada, nothing.
I had to figure out what was happening. THERE MUST BE A WAY out of this spiral.
I spent longer than I should have dissecting personal development books, implementing routines and rituals, and coming up with my own practices to desperately try and patch myself back together.
I dove head first into stress management and personal development so I could help me help you.

Let’s just say my inner mean girl packed up her bags and ghosted.
I have to be completely honest though – it’s not all sunshine, rainbows, and happy selfies every day.
There are still days when I find myself on the wrong shade of blue, but at least now I have tools to help me through. And these tools? I share them with you.
I created this space because it was something I craved but couldn’t find when I needed it the most, hoping that I (and my content) turn up when you do.
